26 : 1 Then Job answered and said:
26 : 2 How you havehelped him who has no power!How you have savedthe arm that has no strength!
26 : 3 How you havecounseled him who has no wisdom,and plentifully declared sound knowledge!
26 : 4 With whose help have you uttered words,and whose breathhas come out from you?
26 : 5 Thedead trembleunder the waters and their inhabitants.
26 : 6 Sheol isnaked before God,andAbaddon has no covering.
26 : 7 Hestretches out the north overthe voidand hangs the earth on nothing.
26 : 8 Hebinds up the waters in his thick clouds,and the cloud is not split open under them.
26 : 9 He covers the face of the full moonandspreads over it his cloud.
26 : 10 He has inscribeda circle on the face of the watersat the boundary between light and darkness.
26 : 11 The pillars of heaven trembleand are astounded at hisrebuke.
26 : 12 By his power hestilled the sea;by his understanding he shatteredRahab.
26 : 13 By his wind the heavens were made fair;his hand piercedthe fleeing serpent.
26 : 14 Behold, these are but the outskirts of hisways,and how smalla whisper do we hear of him!But the thunder of his power who can understand?
