Psalms
63 : 1 O God, you are my God;earnestly I seek you;my soul thirsts for you;my flesh faints for you,as ina dry and weary land where there is no water.
63 : 2 So I have looked upon you in the sanctuary,beholdingyour power and glory.
63 : 3 Because yoursteadfast love is better than life,my lips will praise you.
63 : 4 So I will bless youas long as I live;in yourname I willlift up my hands.
63 : 5 My soul will besatisfied as with fat and rich food,and my mouth will praise you with joyful lips,
63 : 6 when I remember youupon my bed,and meditate on you inthe watches of the night;
63 : 7 for you have been my help,and inthe shadow of your wings I will sing for joy.
63 : 8 My soulclings to you;your right handupholds me.
63 : 9 But those who seek to destroy my lifeshall go down intothe depths of the earth;
63 : 10 they shall be given over to the power of the sword;they shall be a portion for jackals.
63 : 11 Butthe king shall rejoice in God;all whoswear by him shall exult,for the mouths ofliars will be stopped.
