9 : 1 I will give thanks to theLordwith my whole heart;I will recount all of yourwonderful deeds.
9 : 2 I will be glad andexult in you;I willsing praise to your name,O Most High.
9 : 3 When my enemies turn back,they stumble and perish beforeyour presence.
9 : 4 For you havemaintained my just cause;you havesat on the throne, giving righteous judgment.
9 : 5 You haverebuked the nations; you have made the wicked perish;you haveblotted out their name forever and ever.
9 : 6 The enemy came to an end in everlasting ruins;their cities you rooted out;the very memory of them has perished.
9 : 7 But theLordsits enthroned forever;he has established his throne for justice,
9 : 8 and hejudges the world with righteousness;hejudges the peoples with uprightness.
9 : 9 TheLordisa stronghold forthe oppressed,a stronghold intimes of trouble.
9 : 10 And those whoknow your name put their trust in you,for you, OLord, have not forsaken those who seek you.
9 : 11 Sing praises to theLord, whosits enthroned in Zion!Tell among the peoples hisdeeds!
9 : 12 For he whoavenges blood is mindful of them;hedoes not forget the cry of the afflicted.
9 : 13 Be gracious to me, OLord!See my affliction from those who hate me,O you who lift me up fromthe gates of death,
9 : 14 that I may recount all your praises,that in the gates ofthe daughter of ZionI mayrejoice in your salvation.
9 : 15 The nations have sunk inthe pit that they made;inthe net that they hid, their own foot has been caught.
9 : 16 TheLordhas made himselfknown; he has executed judgment;the wicked are snared in the work of their own hands.Higgaion.Selah
9 : 17 The wicked shallreturn to Sheol,all the nations thatforget God.
9 : 18 For the needy shall not always be forgotten,andthe hope of the poor shall not perish forever.
9 : 19 Arise, OLord! Let notman prevail;let the nations be judged before you!
9 : 20 Put them in fear, OLord!Let the nations know that they are butmen!Selah
