90 : 1 Lord, you have been ourdwelling placein all generations.
90 : 2 Before themountains were brought forth,or ever you had formed the earth and the world,from everlasting to everlasting you are God.
90 : 3 You return man to dustand say,Return,O children of man!
90 : 4 Fora thousand years in your sightare but asyesterday when it is past,or asa watch in the night.
90 : 5 Yousweep them away as with a flood; they are likea dream,likegrass that is renewed in the morning:
90 : 6 inthe morning it flourishes and is renewed;in the evening itfades andwithers.
90 : 7 For we are brought to an end by your anger;by your wrath we are dismayed.
90 : 8 You haveset our iniquities before you,oursecret sins in the light of your presence.
90 : 9 For all our days pass away under your wrath;we bring our years to an end like a sigh.
90 : 10 The years of our life are seventy,or even by reason of strength eighty;yet their spanis but toil and trouble;they are soon gone, and we fly away.
90 : 11 Who considers the power of your anger,and your wrath according to the fear of you?
90 : 12 So teach us to number our daysthat we may get a heart of wisdom.
90 : 13 Return, OLord!How long?Havepity on your servants!
90 : 14 Satisfy us in themorning with your steadfast love,that we mayrejoice and be glad all our days.
90 : 15 Make us glad for as many days as you haveafflicted us,and for as many years as we have seen evil.
90 : 16 Let yourwork be shown to your servants,and your glorious power to their children.
90 : 17 Let thefavorof the Lord our God be upon us,and establishthe work of our hands upon us;yes, establish the work of our hands!
